The Australian currency includes 5 notes and 6 coins. It is decimal with the dollar being the basic unit, with cents being the sub unit. 100 cents equals one dollar.

Notes come in, \\$100, $50, $20, $10, and $5 denominations and are different on both sides of the notes. 

Coins come in 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c, \\$1, and $2 denominations and are different on both sides of the notes..
