Echidna
www.ozcity.faithweb.com
The Echidna is a egg-laying mammal.
The female lays a single egg and the newly hatched young suckles on
the females milk. When the Echidna needs to defend itself, they curl into a ball
showing just their spines or by, digging itself below the surface of the ground.
The Echidna has no teeth and they use their long, sticky tongue to take ants and
termites from their nests.
